This is the time of year when I start thinking of all of the things I want to knit, sew, and make for Christimas gifts. I am just learning to crochet and for reasons that are unexplainable, granny squares really catch my eye. I think I've finally got the hang of it and this is the beginning of what I hope will be a beautiful blanket for a yet-to-be determined loved one. I've been inspired by this beautiful blanket on the Purl Bee. If only mine turns out like this!
